Two vivacious Cuban dance Diosas have come together with a spirited Cuban Warrior to invite you to immerse in Auténtica Cuban dance & music experience with amazing workshops and Fiesta in an iconic Gold Coast venue!!
This is a cultural experience with the stories behind each dance shared in both English & Spanish. An immersion in the unrivalled energy and ‘bomba’ of Cuba brought to you by three of the most effervescent and experienced facilitators of Cuban dance on the coast.
Bring all your energy for 3x half-hour sessions of Afro-Cuban Rumba, Rueda de Casino & the uber funky Cuban hip-hop meets Salsa – Salsaton!!
Workshops & Fiesta is Open to all ages & abilities…
Then on top of that, afterwards we Party like only the Cubans!! A FIESTA like no other with authentic Cuban music, ‘Animación’ – follow-the-leader Cuban-style dance segments, with DJ Pilo spinning the latest and bestest Cuban dance music for you to get into your inner Cuban groove.

Let’s enjoy each other’s company for Dinner, in between the workshops and Party (see menu photos attached). Extra cost and provided by the venue, Bookings are essential. Because this is an authentic piece of Cuba on the beautiful Gold Coast, where you will be taught first the history of Salsa while being immersed in the energy and ‘bomba’ of Cuba with the most effervescent facilitators of Cuban dance during the workshops, then party like the Cubans do in an iconic Gold Coast venue. It’s a cultural education as well as an energetic, shake & shimmy move-your-body experience.
Christina is a movement facilitator who has been taking people to Cuba since living there for a year in 1998 and bringing back the culture through starting Australia’s 1st dedicated Cuban Dance Academy in 1999. Mariesly & Pilo are Cuban-born professional artists educated and trained in Cuba’s finest schools of the arts. All 3 are generous in sharing their knowledge in a super fun and inclusive atmosphere. There is no doubt you will have a genuine Cuban cultural experience without having to leave the country!
