✈️ GETTING TO MAGNETIC ISLAND

Flying into Townsville
Townsville Airport is only a short distance from the ferry terminal.
Options include:

• Airport shuttle services – EASIEST & only $12 single or $17 couple to get from the airport to the ferry terminal
• Taxi / Uber also available

⛴ Sealink Ferry to Magnetic Island
Passenger ferries depart regularly from Townsville’s Breakwater Marina to Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island.

Approximate ferry time: 20 minutes

Want to bring your car over for more convenience? Use our wonderful event sponsor Magnetic Island Ferries for the car barge and make sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

Getting to Amaroo on Mandalay (our main festival location)
Once on the island, Amaroo is easily accessible by:

🚌 Local bus – 50c one-way fares – Amaroo is 5min by bus
The local bus services meet most ferry arrivals and stop close to Amaroo.

🚖 MMS – Magnetic Maxi Service have a couple of mini-van taxis at the terminal (great if you arrive as a group)

🚗 Car hire – plenty of options to hire a car if you are spending quality island time and want more of an adventure around the island

✨ The beauty of Magnetic Island is that everything is relatively close and super easy to access.

FOOD DURING OUR FESTIVAL
We are blessed to have Diego and Emilio catering for our event, bringing you authentic Latin food not only delicious but also nutritious. Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner plus Sunday lunch and dinner available to pre-book.
